Job Description Job title Head of M&A Location Office in London, Hybrid working arrangements Salary 150k Ref Number HW0002 Company Overview: Finatal has partnered with a fast growing, tech enabled business at the forefront of its industry, with current revenues at circa £320m, and ambitious plans to double this revenue over the next few years. To support this growth, they are seeking a seasoned Head of M&A with the ability to manage the entire deal flow from origination to integration. Position Overview: The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of M&A to join their team, reporting directly to their newly appointed Group CFO. In this role, you will lead a team of two full-time M&A staff and collaborate with the broader finance and operations team on deals as needed. Key Responsibilities: Drive origination activities. Manage all aspects of pricing and valuations. Conduct detailed commercial due diligence to understand business models and working practices. Structure deals and manage all due diligence workstreams, with tax and legal due diligence outsourced and financial due diligence outsourced for more material deals. Execute deals and manage 100-day planning. Collaborate with the Operations team to integrate businesses. Assist the Group CFO with future fundraising activities. Prepare detailed and value-creating reports and analysis for the Board and PE backers. Work with the C-Suite on a range of commercial activities. What We Are Looking For: An experienced Head of M&A with a proven track record of managing deal flow from origination to integration. Demonstrated ability to drive organic growth initiatives. Strong analytical and commercial skills to undertake detailed analysis of business operations. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a highly demanding Board.
