MediTalent Group are recruiting on behalf of a bespoke private hospital in London for a Head of Operating Theatres to join their team. Within this role you will be managing a range of services, leadership and strategies for continuous improvement within clinical areas ensuring the highest standards of care is always delivered.
The position requires an individual who is experienced in advanced management/leadership and can demonstrate knowledge/skills in the effective management of versatile teams. You will be actively working to drive the department forward by guiding, mentoring and assessing strategies. This is a rare opportunity for our client's prestigious hospital, which is up to date with facilities and services.
Within this role you will be a key member of staff for building vital relationships acting as the key person communicating and finalising processes and procedures for the hospital and external organisations. You will provide clear direction and leadership to all your staff, whilst supporting the users of the hospital.
The ideal candidate:

• Will have senior leadership experience or Masters in Health Management and/or MBA (desirable.
• A successful track record and confidence in theatre leadership.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical service and financial management planning at a senior level. You must be confident in theatre management and working alongside other senior staff to ensure a smooth running of theatre and patient care.
• You will be assessing, analysing and running audits to do this.
• You will be compliant in working within hospital policies, procedures, and governance.
