Head of Operations - Midlands based - £75k salary - Car or Allowance - 33 Days Holiday - Hybrid Options - Bonus - Water industry J3A Recruitment are proud to be working closely with a leading contractor within the water sector. With operations spanning throughout the UK and an incredibly healthy orderbook, they are looking to expand their senior divisions with key personnel to reach targets and help support with continued growth. As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and being responsible for all; Design, Operations, Engineering & Delivery Activities. You will work collaboratively with senior members of the firm to ensure all operational activities, planning and implementation procedures are followed to a high level. Key responsibilities for the Head of OperationsPlan direction and key deliverables for multiple operational, site and design teams in conjunction with the Ops DirectorWork closely with managers and teams to ensure client specific requests and contractual obligations are metEnsure commercial arrangements are in place, developing new opportunities and projecting growth and resource plans.Delivers to budgetary and operational associated targets, set by Frameworks teams.Ensure Health, Safety and all related quality and environmental strategic factors are embedded into daily operations.Provide technical expertise to clients and customers, undertaking client visits and external events when appropriate.Responsible for full CDM compliance.Further responsibilities to be discussedTo be successful as the Head of Operations HND or similar in Engineering (ideally Mechanical or Electrical but open) 3+ years working in a similar senior position Previous experience working within the water industry, ideally through a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor Good understanding of Utilities operations along with good commercial acumen Proven leadership skills and able to guide and support teams Cost & Tender experience Package for the Head of Operations £75,000 basic salary (potentially flexible within reason for the right person) 33 days holiday 6% matched pension Hybrid working options available Growing business with huge pipeline Company car / car allowance Other titles considered - Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Operations Director, Head of Business Operations, Operations Lead.
