Job DescriptionInnovative hydrogen developer looking to bring on a Head of People to support their next stage of growth. Dynamic role, in a start up environment for a business that are a key player in the UK's hydrogen transition.Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement strategies and processes for talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training and development, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and compliance.Shape the organisation’s medium- and long-term talent strategy by developing graduate programs, internships, career progression structures, and headcount planning systems.Foster collaborative cross-functional relationships with Finance, commercial teams, engineering teams, and hiring managers to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of employees and contingent workers.Act as a bridge between commercial and engineering plant teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication across departments.Corporate Implementation:Lead the transition to an independent business entity, including the development and implementation of new policies and systems.Develop and promote the company identity and value system, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Growth and Expansion:Support rapid growth and the addition of new business lines by developing appropriate corporate organisation and functions.Oversee the integration of new business lines into the existing organisational structure, ensuring cohesive and efficient operations.Performance Management and Development:Design and lead company-wide performance management, feedback, and review processes, including training staff and managers on their use.Create personal and professional development programs tailored to various functions within the organisation.Human Resources Solutions:Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analysing information and recommending courses of action.Prepare executive and management reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising data and trends.Enhance manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, and providing coaching and counselling.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:8+ years of experience with HRIS systems.Familiarity and experience with relevant UK legal requirements.Prior experience in a senior people operations/HR role within a high-growth organisation.Proven ability to work and deliver within tight timelines.Ability to work cohesively with Plant engineering teams in a different location.Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the business, particularly between commercial and engineering teams.Experience in leading corporate transitions and developing new business functions.A clear vision for building a robust people operations function.Prior experience in management positions and reporting to C-Suite at an SME or high-growth organisation.If you are interested in this role please apply to this advert, or reach out on #####
