We are seeking to employ an inspirational and forward-thinking Physics specialist to lead our thriving Physics Department . The appointment provides the opportunity to teach well-motivated, hard-working and high achieving pupils at KS 3, 4 and 5.
All pupils study the main three sciences separately through to GCSE. Almost all pupils prepare for the higher tier papers. At A Level, the students follow the OCR Physics specification.
In years 1 & 2 (NC years 7 & 8) Churcher’s has developed its own Physics course which follows the requirements for Key Stage 3 but attempts to stretch our pupils further. This course is regularly reviewed and updated, and you would lead this process.
