Harvey Nash have partnered exclusively with the University of Shefield as they continue to revolutionise their solutions and offerings for students. This is a rare opportunity to work in an exceptional University within a creative and innovative team. They are looking to recruit a Head of Product to own, develop and deliver a brand-new product roadmap.

The University has an exciting multi-year programme of work underway where they are engaging in transformative projects across the organisation, this is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing organisation and play a key role in the organisation moving forwards.

As Head of Product, you will critically understand the importance of design standards, service design and user experience. You will have a track record of digital product delivery and be able to establish relationships with a wide range of customers and stakeholders across the organisation and beyond. To achieve this you will build a high-performing team and develop them to have the right skills and processes to deliver. You will be responsible for a large team and significant budget.

You will work closely with the executive board, Senior/Executive sponsors, business leads, visionaries, and other key stakeholders to apply leadership, delivery skills and insight to deliver and embed successful change throughout the University.

Essential Experience:

* Proven experience managing high-profile, large-scale IT Transformation projects across organisations.

* Significant experience in digital product management.

* Expert knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management, processes, practices and their application.

* Experience building delivery teams and transforming traditional development functions into high performing product-led development teams.

* Demonstrable experience of building strong working relationships with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and customers.
