About the Head of ProductMy client is a fast growth international Banking as Service player operating within UK, Australia & America. They are market leading for their unique core banking platform which Tier 1 Banks, Fintech’s and Alternative lender use to power their offerings.Due to their API technology, they are easy to integrate, flexible to flex & can build customised platforms depending on the FS orgnisations need – This has made them a top hit with innovative lenders. As they enter the next phase of growth, they are now looking for Head of Product to report into the CEO. You will have direct ownership of the Product development strategy, budget responsibility of tech & product remits and a focus on improving existing product offerings & future planning new developments for the market As the Head of Product your responsibilities and duties will include:Strategically own the product roadmap ensuring all client needs are hit & future products are being developed to remain competitive in the marketUnderstanding of the market ecosystem & where my client sits and where improvements can be madeBudget responsibility of the Product division / 4 direct reports with focus on 121/mentoring and upskilling Focus on prioritisation of product and dev tasks to ensure resource is allocated correctly Understanding of efficiencies and improving processes across the PM / PO team Essential Skills and Competencies of the Head of Product is:Previous experience within Product leadership Experience & understanding of banking / lending / Fintech ideally within retail or commercial banking technologyIdeal, previous background in the Banking & FS sector before tech careerAutonomous, dedicated mindset – likes taking ownership of projects Ability to complete hands on PM / PO tasks when required to support the teamKeen to work in a fast growth environment For more information about Head of Product please get in touch or to apply send your CV now.
