KO2's client, a leader in designing and manufacturing complex IoT devices used globally, is seeking an experienced Head of Projects to drive innovation and delivery in an evolving product landscape. Recently acquired, the company is entering an exciting phase of new product development, and this role is pivotal in refining project processes and aligning international teams for success.

As the Head of Projects, you'll be instrumental in reshaping and standardizing project processes. Unlike traditional project managers, KO2's client requires a dynamic "doer" who can push projects to completion in a collaborative engineering environment, whilst ensuring improvements on process adherence. Your focus will be on getting products to market efficiently while supporting continuous improvement.

Role Highlights:

• Lead the delivery of complex IoT product projects, ensuring products reach the market on schedule.
• Manage and inspire an in-house team, including 2 current project managers and aid in the hiring of 2 additional team members.
• Oversee alignment across global teams, particularly with colleagues in China, to ensure consistent standards and timelines.
• Redefine project processes with a focus on efficiency and adaptability, fostering a delivery-driven mindset.

Candidate Profile:

This role is best suited for a Head of Projects from an engineering, manufacturing, or small production background (IoT, component manufacturing, etc.) rather than aerospace or automotive. Experience in leading cross-functional teams, improving processes, and accelerating delivery times will be critical. You will work hands-on in ensuring processes serve the team's needs while moving projects forward with a focus on practical outcomes.
