** Role: Head of Quality of Education for KS2 & KS3 **

Location: North Derbyshire

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Weeks: 39 weeks (Term-time only)

** Must hold a full UK Driving Licence, have access to a road worthy vehicle and Business Insurance**

Your Purpose:

To have a passion for enhancing the quality of education and therefore improving the outcomes of young people. You will need to be strategic, innovative and have the ability to see the bigger picture.

Your Impact:

As Head of Quality of Education for KS2 & KS3 you will be responsible for determining the strategic direction and business development of the quality of education for key stage 2 and 3 which is offered within schools. Working alongside our Head of Schools, the successful candidate will ensure a high level delivery of education for all learners.

Experience:

  • Experience of designing and developing appropriate curriculum
  • Experience of effective curriculum evaluation and impact assessment
  • Evidence of successfully leading and sustaining educational initiatives
  • Significant experience of school leadership (at least 3 years) with a sustained record of school improvement
  • Some experience of ensuring inclusion, diversity and access for all within an education setting.

Skills:

  • Able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrate a wide variety of ICT skills (e.g. an understanding of Google Cloud and associated applications and e-Safety)
  • Demonstrate effective record keeping with a clear understanding of the Data Protection Act and sharing information protocols
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of resilience and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to build rapport and trust
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead change, creativity and innovation

Education and Training

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline for teaching and/or education.
  • To be able to produce evidence of previous CPD (e.g. first aid, safeguarding training, diversity training, CAF/EHC training, IOSHH)

Qualitities:

  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence, have access to a road worthy vehicle and have Business Insurance.
  • Be committed to adhering to the organisation's policies, procedures and practices.
  • Be committed to delivering holistic family interventions. Be driven to provide positive outcomes to children, young people and vulnerable adults.
  • To support the core values of Trust, Innovation and Achievement. Be willing to complete regular Enhanced DBS and Social Media checks.
