Head of Retail Sales
This is a home-based role covering 10 UK sites, it also offers a 3 or 4-day week
Candidates must hold a full driving licence
Basic salary £60,000 (pro-rota) depending on experience plus, bonus, company car, laptop, pension, staff discounts, healthcare and additional training
My client is seeking a dynamic Head of Retail Sales with a proven history of working in
high-end retail showrooms, demonstrating an ability to understand and cater to the needs of luxury customers.
As the Head of Retail Sales, you will have experience of working in high end retail showroom sales, with leadership and training skills and a deep understanding of the luxury retail interior design industry and a strong appreciation for high-end products with understanding of customer expectations in this market. You may previously have worked in the London sales scene for home interiors.
You will lead the sales teams, manage showroom aesthetics, deliver a high-level customer service, and have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with discerning clients.
You will be responsible for recruiting, coaching and mentoring team members, have skills and knowledge to provide an exceptional interior design service and ensure the showrooms reflect a brand vision and product offerings are aligned with the brand, market trends and customer preferences.

Duties
- You will oversee the maintenance and enhancement of showroom aesthetics to ensure alignment with the company’s brand standards and current design trends
- Implement visual merchandising strategies that enhance product presentation and customer engagement.
- Develop a strong understanding of luxury market drivers and customer preferences
- Equip the team to provide exceptional service and personalised solutions that drive sales and meet customer’ needs and foster a positive and motivating work environment.
- Review and update showroom displays to keep them fresh, relevant, and appealing.
- Develop and manage the sales team and recruit and onboard new members, ensuring they align with our brand goals and identify individual performance goals and collaborate with head office to provide targeted training, either through your efforts or through other resources, to improve performance
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Recognising and reward outstanding performance to maintain high morale and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide insights and feedback on product offerings based on customer preferences and market trends.
- You will participate in the development of new products and collections, ensuring they meet customer’ needs and align with market demands.
