Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for all things reward and recognition? The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is looking for a Head of Reward & Recognition to join us for a 12-month fixed term contract to continue to drive our reward function forward. As the Head of Reward & Recognition, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing our reward and recognition strategy across the BHF. You will also oversee the payroll function and ensure our reward propositions remain relevant and attractive. Your role will involve leading a team of experts, collaborating with business leaders, and driving continuous improvement in our processes. Key responsibilities include:
Leading the Reward & Payroll team, setting clear goals and objectives
D eveloping strong relationships with business leaders on all matters related to reward
Driving the development and continuous improvement of reward and payroll processes
Ensuring the reward strategy achieves attraction, engagement, and retention goals
Overseeing the delivery of all cyclical and ad-hoc reward projects
Working arrangements This is a 12-month FTC, and we are looking for the successful candidate to be able to start with us on or before 28th October. This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average.The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. About you We are looking for an experienced manager to join us before or on 28th October to ensure a handover period with the current role holder. With excellent relationship building skills, youll develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Youll also be highly numerate and analytical with a creative problem-solving mindset. To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in a people leadership role
A proven track record in creating and implementing reward strategies
A strong understanding of payroll principles and legislation
Up-to-date knowledge of reward and payroll legislation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
