Or perhaps you simply want to join a business with ambitious growth plans?This is a great time to join this rapidly growing business following the promotion of the current jobholder into a Director position.You’ll manage a Risk and Compliance team of 10, ensuring its development in line with commercial growth and regulatory strategy.It’s a hands-on role that will see you taking responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of the firm’s Risk & Compliance regime. It is also anticipated that you’ll take on the MLRO and DPO roles in the short to medium term.You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the Risk & Compliance framework, policies and procedures and provide day-to-day Compliance advice and guidance to the business. You’ll also undertake horizon scanning of the regulatory landscape, providing advice, training and management updates as appropriate.This is a predominantly office-based role where you will spend 4 days a week in the firm’s office near Maidstone with the other day working from home.You’ll be an experienced senior Compliance specialist within the mortgage or wider lending arena, with strong regulatory knowledge (MCOB, CONC, SYSC, DISP etc.). You’ll have a proven track record of senior stakeholder engagement as well as team management and development. Excellent communication, negotiating and influencing skills are essential.You must also be happy working in a hands-on manner – you’ll never be far from the coalface.Does this sound like you?
