Head of SHEQ - County Tyrone

Salary: Very Competitive

Location: Dungannon

41.5 hours per week + Excellent Benefits

An opportunity has arisen for Head of SHEQ with 10 years' experience, including 5 years in a senior role, ideally in manufacturing, to join a reputable engineering firm. Our client manufactures a diverse range of products, such as hi-lifts and aircraft maintenance equipment.

In this role, you will report to Chief Operations Office and oversee the development and upkeep of a comprehensive SHEQ performance framework across the organisation.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide strategic leadership in SHEQ, ensuring global compliance.
  • Implement and oversee safety, health, environmental, and quality initiatives.
  • Develop metrics, KPIs, and reports to measure SHEQ performance.
  • Manage ISO certification processes and lead audits.
  • Conduct incident investigations and internal audits.
  • Lead the SHEQ team and support subcontractor onboarding.
  • Stay updated with legislation and industry standards.
  • Drive a positive safety and quality culture within the organisation.

What we are looking for:

  • NEBOSH Level 6 or equivalent qualification in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Deep understanding of HSE policies and ISO / OSHA standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards would be preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive a culture of improvement.
