Head of Supply Chain

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and enhance the functions. This role is crucial in driving operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness to support growth of the business.

Description

As the Head of Supply Chain you will,

• Lead and develop the the supply chain team, reviewing structure, job descriptions, and up skilling where required
• Build relationships with the Sales, Design, and Product teams to understand the challenges on the business, and develop processes and system that align to delivering great customer service
• Along side Product and Sourcing, work with suppliers to understand capacity, and lead times, that supports an optimised inventory level, without effecting customer service
• Drive avoidance / cost reduction initiatives within the supply chain, this could include logistics routes, freight costs, external warehousing, cost of import / export....
• Contribute to the business strategy as a key member of the senior leadership team

Profile

A successful Head of Supply Chain should have:

• A working knowledge of a global supply chain (primarily Far East) within a medium / high SKU environment (c 5,000)
• Proven leadership experience in a similar role, being able to demonstrate performance management and increased engagement
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, showing advanced stock / inventory management
• Track record in managing supply, demand, and warehouse teams
