Our client is a leading FMCG business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Head of Sustainability to join their business.
Key deliverables include but are not limited to:
Financial Outcomes:
* Strategic Deployment: Implement the "Build Better Together" strategy to achieve AOP targets.
* Sustainability Strategy: Align international business with global sustainability goals.
* Value Creation: Identify and leverage new value creation opportunities.
* Circular Economies: Lead biodegradable teabags and sustainable packaging initiatives.
Customer Service:
* Sustainable Sourcing & Packaging: Oversee sustainable sourcing, packaging, climate change, and carbon neutrality.
* Communication Strategy: Develop and execute communication strategies with stakeholders.
* Competitive Advantage: Create sustainability plans and training materials for competitive edge.
* Consumer Focus: Ensure the strategy is dynamic and aligned with the organisation's purpose.
Internal Processes:
* Sustainable Sourcing: Support sustainable sourcing and address emerging risks.
* Governance Coordination: Close strategic priorities from governance meetings.
* ESG Metrics: Update sustainability metrics on ESG data systems.
* Community Engagement: Promote colleague involvement in community volunteering.
Innovation and Learning:
* Process Improvements: Enhance sustainability practices and ESG reporting.
* Industry Awareness: Stay informed about best practices and regulations in FMCG
