Davies has annual revenues more than £800m, with more than 1,400 clients. In the past nine years, Davies has delivered average annual organic revenue growth of ~8%, and inorganically has added more than 50 bolt-on acquisitions to its growing platform over that time. Davies has been PE-backed since 2007 and is currently owned by BC Partners, HGGC, AIMCo, management and staff. The roleA member of Global Solutions HRLT, the Head of Talent Acquisition (TA) & Development is responsible for managing the Global Solutions TA team as well as leading the Global Solutions Learning & Development/Development agenda. The TA team is accountable for all permanent hiring, and internal hires, across Global Solutions. The TA team are based across multiple geographies and will be responsible for TA in all countries where Global Solutions has a presence; US, Canada & UK and smaller sites in up c.15 additional countries. There are pockets of L&D/activity within Global Solutions, this role will align the business unit in one strategy to support Development from talent pipeline through to career progression and succession planning. The TA & Development lead needs to combine the ability to think strategically with a hands on approach, execute quickly with an inclusive mindset, setting the standards and driving delivery. The TA lead needs to ensure flawless operational performance and return on investment to the business. Key responsibilitiesTalent AcquisitionManagement of the Global Solutions Talent Acquisition Team ensuring the team delivers or exceeds business requirementsResponsible for creating and delivering the Talent Acquisition TOM, bringing together the 4 current teams into one. Partnering with senior leaders ensuring delivery of right skills, right people, right timeResponsible for development of and delivery of Global Solutions hiring strategy, including EVP and go to market strategyDevelop our brand, ensure appropriate presence in our diverse markets and geographiesOwnership of the hiring process across multiple geographies in Global SolutionsEnsuring a DEI lens is applied to all recruitment and development activity including hiring strategy, EVP and Davies offering, L&D strategyProvision of analytics on a monthly basis including cost to hireDrive the successful implementation of group specific projects as required ie Global ATSWork with TA/Development leads in UK&I and North America as appropriateLearning and DevelopmentDefine and deliver Global Solutions L&D and talent management strategy, working with L&D leads in sub divisions, to support future business requirementsEnsure best use of L&D resource including Thrive across Global SolutionsEnsuring equal focus across all of the sub-divisions ie Consulting, Tech, Insurance Solutions and Forensic AccountingEnsuring equal focus given to Group Functions as well as Global Solutions rolesDeliver operational excellence, implementing improvements that gain competitive advantageOwnership of Global Solutions TA & Development initiatives such as sustainable resourcing, work experience programme etc.Key skills and experience requiredAble to demonstrate the key skills and attributes of strategic leader/talent acquisition/development professional Professional recruiter and strong leadership skillsStrategies to attract, development and retain talent into/in a businessExcellent understanding of employment market in all geographiesPsychometrics both as a hiring tool and development toolCultural awarenessProven experience of introducing inclusive initiatives in multiple geographiesTalent development from a global perspective with DEI at the forefront of the agendaStrong influencing and persuasive skills, able to persuade others of their point of viewCommercial acumen, creative, decisiveness, resilience, clear thinker and strong leadership ability, transformational change agentAble to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally, and build effective working relationshipsHave/able to build and develop external network in all geographiesFocused on achieving results and finding solutionsAble to understand diverse business needsWorked in a matrixed or high growth organisation Experience of working in a PE organisation optional.
