Head of Tax - R&D

Your new company :
I am currently working with a boutique research and development firm based in London, currently seeking a skilled Head of Tax to join their expanding team. This role involves active engagement with the R&D tax team and the broader tax function, taking responsibility for developing the junior members of the team and providing a high level of advice to clients around R&D tax matters.
As head of tax, you will be at the forefront of the business, playing a pivotal role in managing and continuously improving processes to ensure clients benefit from comprehensive tax advice, risk mitigation and up-to-date compliance services. The Role:
Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimise tax liabilities
Identify and obtain tax incentives for R&D activities
Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate tax returns
Conduct research on technical tax matters and prepare documentation to support tax positions
Lead and mentor a team of professionals
Advise senior members of the team and the implications of R&D projects
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
What you'll need to succeed :
Professional Qualification (CTA, ATT, ACCA, ACA)
Strong experience in tax with a focus on R&D
