Head of Technical - HV Commissioning & Outage Planning

Reporting directly to the Framework Director and as a member of the Framework Senior Management Team (SMT), this role is accountable for the safe and efficient integration of EHV assets into operational infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and mentoring technical staff to elevate EHV competence levels within the organisation.
• Overseeing commissioning teams to ensure compliance with strict safety standards and project Available for Commercial Load (ACL) milestones.
• Securing and coordinating network outages with clients to facilitate commissioning activities in line with ACL expectations.
• Collaborating on developing technical solutions with other functional leads from the design and construction stages through to commissioning.

This role requires an experienced EHV commissioning professional with a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering expertise within the team to support the organisation's long-term goals.
