On behalf of a fantastic client based in the Southwest we are resourcing for a Head of Technology to oversee the client Software and Cyber/Infrastructure Teams.

This is a Permanent role and is Hybrid with 2 days a week in office on average but can have flex for this

Leadership & Strategy:

• Lead and manage two key IT teams: Hardware & Cybersecurity, and Software Development.
• Develop and implement an IT strategy that supports the firm's vision and business goals.
• Oversee IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective solutions
• Foster a collaborative IT culture, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation across the firm.

Hardware, Cybersecurity & Infrastructure:

• Lead the Hardware & Cybersecurity team to ensure the highest levels of data security, compliance, and risk management across all IT systems.
• Manage cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technologies to safeguard sensitive client and firm data.
• Supervise the management of the firm's hosted network infrastructure and hardware, ensuring reliability, scalability, and minimal downtime.

Software Development & Innovation:

• Lead the software development team to design, implement, and support technology solutions, including practice management software and other applications.
• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies that enhance operational efficiency, client experience, and workflows (e.g., our app, in-house API, and codeless platform).
• Oversee the development of internal tools and systems tailored to the firm's needs.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: 5-7 years of IT leadership experience, with a strong background in both hardware/cybersecurity and software development.
• Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, networks, and security protocols. Familiarity with technology platforms, document management systems, software is a plus.
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving IT projects from concept to completion.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, risk management, and compliance,
• Software Development: Experience overseeing custom software development projects focused on enhancing efficiency.
• Education: A relevant degree or professional certifications are advantageous.
