Our people are at the heart of our purpose to advance aviation and keep the skies safe.

Our Analytics team are at the core of data-driven decision-making and recommendations which shape the future of NATS and the aviation industry. This is a rare opportunity to join our award-winning team at a Management Team level.

This role is the primary lead and business partner for Analytics requests relating to the areas of Traffic, Corporate and Safety & Sustainability. You will connect these stakeholders with the insight needed, managing a team of analysts to proactively deliver solutions, from reports and simulations to forecasts and what-if analysis. You will be accountable for the technical work programme, ensuring high quality delivery.

As part of our Management Team, you will provide clear leadership, building the appropriate capability to continuously deliver and develop advanced analytics to meet business demand. You will collectively balance the team's skills and expertise to deliver projects and initiatives to customers.

Applicants should have strong technical experience of delivering data-driven insight and value within complex domains through direct and indirect team management, strong knowledge of analytical tools application and a good degree in a numerate subject (or equivalent). It would be beneficial to have an understanding of the aviation industry, regulatory and commercial environment and the information required to drive operational performance. Experience within the specific area of forecasting would be a distinct advantage. The ability to ensure the accuracy of the detail underpinning the team's work whilst retaining a strategic view on behalf of your customers is essential in this role.

We are looking for an excellent communicator with sound judgement who will build and maintain relationships across a diverse range of groups and with proven ability to engage, influence and challenge at all levels, including at Executive level. You will be adept in swiftly and accurately assessing customer needs, prioritising activity based upon value and focusing the team's resource accordingly. You will actively seek to simplify and collaborate with others to deliver optimal results, encouraging staff to propose innovative approaches to enhance long-term solutions. You will manage a diverse portfolio and ensure that the team delivers clearly articulated output which customers can immediately act upon.

We would love to hear from applicants who have a passion for seeing high-quality analysis tangibly benefit real-world challenges, who are driven by inspiring those around them and with the ability to help team members understand how to best influence outcomes by enhancing their non-technical skills.

Interviews are expected to begin from 16th December 2024.

We are proud to offer a fantastic total reward package to help you thrive both personally and professionally. We have adopted agile working to provide greater flexibility and increased choice over working arrangements, with the opportunity for this role to work in our modern office facilities as well as remotely. We also welcome discussions on flexible and part-time working arrangements. If you share our passion to advance aviation and keep the skies safe - we would like to hear from you whatever your age, sex, race, faith, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, visible or invisible disability. Individuals that bring different perspectives, skills, life experiences and backgrounds help us be at the forefront of our industry.
