Zanda partners with VCs, Founders, CEOs and CFOs when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.Who is the businessWe have partnered with a rapidly scaling start-up that is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Treasury to join their team. This role is pivotal as the company continues its exponential growth trajectory. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the treasury function, ensuring optimal liquidity management, financial risk mitigation, and capital structure strategies. You should be a leader who can navigate the complexities of a fast-growing environment, with the ability to drive significant impact across the business.What you'll doOversee the company's global cash management and liquidity strategy, ensuring sufficient funds are available for ongoing operational and growth needs. Develop and implement robust treasury policies and procedures to optimize cash flow, manage financial risks, and enhance overall financial performance.Lead the management of relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other key stakeholders, negotiating terms and managing the company's banking structure.Design and execute the company's capital structure strategy, including debt management, equity financing, and other funding activities.Monitor and manage currency exposure, interest rate risks, and other financial risks, implementing appropriate hedging strategies.Partner with the CFO and senior leadership team to provide insights on treasury-related matters, supporting strategic decision-making and long-term financial planning.Drive continuous improvement in treasury processes, leveraging technology and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Experience RequiredQualified with a minimum of 5 years of relevant treasury leadership experience, ideally within a high-growth or multinational environment.Demonstrated experience in cash management, liquidity planning, and risk management, with a proven track record of strategic leadership in these areas.Advanced knowledge of financial instruments, banking products, and capital markets.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Proactive problem solver with a strategic mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.Experience in the technology, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors is a strong advantage.To apply for this role, please use the Apply button, or alternatively, email your CV to Andrew Waters: ##### note that due to the expected volume of applications, we will only be able to respond to those candidates whose experience matches the requirements of our client.
