We are seeking an excellent Head Omakase Chef, with a passion for Japanese food, wanting career growth for a busy and vibrant restaurant located in the heart of Notting Hill. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Senior Sushi Chef or Senior Omakase Chef, with attention to detail, looking to take your experience to the next level. You will be working with the best ingredients to create exceptional dishes and beautiful food in a fast-paced kitchen.

JUNO Omakase is an intimate dining experience set within a small private dining experience at Los Mochis Notting Hill. The Head Sushi Chef will be instrumental in building upon the already impressive accolades of JUNO Omakase.

As a Head Omakase Chef we would love you to have:
Proven experience as a Senior Sushi Chef, in a high-volume and high quality restaurant.
Experience working in an Omakase establishment.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and delivering high-quality results.
Excellent knife skills and ability to handle sushi knives safely.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Full ownership in your role.
Good English language communication skills with a willingness to learn.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes, and standards.
Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team.
Train and mentor junior sushi chefs, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to standards.
The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant.
Proof of right to work/pre-settled status in UK.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
