Job Title: Group Head Pastry Chef (overseeing 3 restaurants)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Location: City of London, UK
Reports to : Culinary Director and Corporate Chef
The Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Group Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry operations for a renowned restaurant group in London. In this role, you will oversee multiple high-end establishments, ensuring the consistent quality and excellence of all pastry products. You will be responsible for creating innovative culinary offerings, upholding the highest standards, and leading a talented pastry team across all 3 restaurant locations
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate pastry production status regularly with Executive Chefs
Execute and maintain all recipes and menu items
Develop and implement seasonal menu changes in collaboration with Executive Chefs
Train and educate front of house staff
Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
Implement solutions to improve operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience
Provide outstanding service during special events and daytoday operations
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
Conduct regular inventory and ensure proper stock levels
Minimize waste and manage food and labor costs efficiently
Lead, train, and guide the pastry team
Address guest complaints and ensure satisfaction
Assist with menu development and pricing as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 years of Pastry experience
Able to work long and flexible hours
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team
High standard of personal hygiene and professionalism
Experience working in a fast paced environment
