The role will provide Environmental support to the operational teams, who work across various frameworks across the UK.Responsibilities of the Environmental Advisor:Assist and advise the operational and management team to further develop the management systems and operational practicesSupport, review and aid the population of construction phase plans, environmental plans, review contractors RAMSAdvise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. risk assessments, risk management, fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational healthAssist with the development of SHE management systemsLiaison with external bodies including the Health and Safety Executive, Clients and other stakeholders as directed by the SHE ManagerSupport incident management & investigation processProduce toolbox talks, team talks and appropriate SHE training materials about health and safety issues and risks.Monitor trade contractors via site inspection and management auditCriteria for the Environmental Advisor:Previous experience as a Safety Advisor in a construction environment (Utilities experience desirable)Knowledge and experience of Temporary Works managementNEBOSH General or ConstructionNRSWA qualification and Utility SHEA Gas Passport is desirableFull driving licence and willingness to travel is essentialIf you are interested in applying for the role, please send your full C.V over and we will get in touch with you.
