As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will be a critical part of a transformative project, overseeing health and safety measures on a large scale. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the health and safety management on our prestigious construction site in Frankfurt. Ensure compliance with local and national health and safety legislation, especially during the construction phase. Develop and implement project-specific health and safety strategies, programs, and plans. Coordinate various aspects of the construction health and safety program, including site access, security, inductions, first aid, welfare, and emergency arrangements. Manage on-site construction health and safety resources effectively. Promote the adoption of industry best practices in health and safety across all projects. Conduct active health and safety monitoring through regular audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities. Monitor and report on health and safety performance and challenges using established key performance indicators. Influence employee work practices through effective communication, relationship building, and behavioral safety coaching. Report on health and safety initiatives, objectives, and performance to the Operations Manager and other stakeholders. Provide support throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal through to handover and operational stages. Offer expert health, safety, and well-being advice to management and project teams. Ensure compliance with the latest occupational safety, health, and welfare regulations for the business unit. Develop and implement emergency response procedures, case management, and incident investigation processes to facilitate learning from incidents. Contribute to the preparation for future ISO 45001 certification. Qualifications: Background in construction, ideally from the M&E sector (not essential). Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Construction is advantageous). Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation. Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office packages. Excellent presentation, report writing, and communication skills. Strong client-facing skills with a solid understanding of client needs. A proactive interest in staying updated with the latest legislation. A dedicated and enthusiastic approach to Health & Safety.
