We are currently looking for a�Health and Safety Advisor�to join my clients growing business. This role is essential in promoting a safe working environment by identifying hazards, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will play a key part in fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, including conducting root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide training and guidance on health and safety practices, including first aid procedures.
- Collaborate with management to promote safety awareness among all employees.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and best practices in health and safety management.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a health and safety role is preferred.
- Strong report writing skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is essential; certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying issues contributing to incidents.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
