Join the BMB team on the groundbreaking Tideway West project, responsible for delivering the West section of the Thames Tideway Tunnel. In this pivotal role, you will work with a dynamic project team, providing expert advice, guidance, and support to maintain the highest standards of safety throughout the project lifecycle. What You'll Do: Provide expert Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) technical support to ensure legislative and client requirements are met. Monitor the implementation of BMB policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness across construction and commissioning activities. Support the development and monitoring of HSW strategies, ensuring the project stays on track to meet key health and safety deliverables. Lead site inspections and create reports to identify risk areas, while also providing positive observations and improvement opportunities. Engage with senior teams to deliver monthly performance feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Take an active role in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, adhering to BMB and Tideway standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HSW excellence, including supply chain partners and client teams. What We're Looking For: NEBOSH (minimum) qualification in Health & Safety. Strong background in health and safety management within civils or construction environments. Ability to influence, engage, and advise the project team in achieving safety goals. Expertise in preparing and reviewing risk assessments, work plans, and safety documentation. Collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing.
