Health and Safety Contract Receiver
Location: Rotherham
£13.20 Per Hour - Immediate Start!
Shift Pattern: Day shifts (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Job Overview:
The Contractor Reception Coordinator will ensure all contractors on site are properly introduced to the organisation's safety protocols and procedures, from induction to project completion. This role contributes to fostering a robust health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Contractor Reception Coordinator, your duties will include:
Supervising contractor sign-in procedures.
Managing medical questionnaire submissions.
Issuing and tracking Works Completion Sheets (WCS).
Instructing contractors to have the WCS signed by a manager and ensuring it is returned to the reception area.
Ensuring contractors receive appropriate safety inductions where feasible.
Verifying that all risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in place, where possible.
Confirming that contractors are on the approved list of suppliers.
Collecting copies of relevant competency cards from contractors.
Contacting hosts to coordinate contractor transitions or escorting contractors to designated areas.
Performing any additional tasks as required and within the scope of your role.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
A minimum of two years' experience in a Health and Safety-related role (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
Familiarity with working in a shift-based operation is an advantage.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards it is desirable.
A solid understanding of COSHH, with advanced knowledge being an advantage.
