Are you a Rail Health and Safety Manager with experience working on major projects? Have you worked on projects that involved bridges, structures or heavy civils? Location: Aylesbury Salary: 60,000 - 80,000 per annum + car allowance or company car My client is looking to add a Health and Safety Manager to their team to work on the UK's largest civil engineering project, HS2. The package of works will include the construction of viaducts, tunnels, bridges, structures and mass earthworks, so experience working within these disciplines is preferable. Benefits: ·25 annual leave ·Company car or allowance ·Health care benefits ·Company Pension ·Travel allowance It is essential that you have experience working as a Health and Safety Manager within the rail industry, ideally on major heavy civils projects. Experience in managing a team is essential, as you will be required to do so in this role. The main functions of the Health and Safety Manager will be: ·Leading and managing on all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing for the delivery team. ·Delivering a health, safety and wellbeing strategy. ·Monitoring KPI's to identify opportunities for improvement. ·Driving a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture. ·Performing site audits. Requirements: ·Degree/HNC/HND in Occupational Health and Safety ·Chartered or working towards ·NEBOSH Construction or General ·Experience working on major civil engineering projects, preferably rail ·Experience working on bridges, structures or heavy civils on rail projects preferred ·PTS preferred ·Full driving license This is an exciting opportunity to work for a joint venture on HS2, and to be a part of the UK's largest civil engineering project.
