Job title: HSE ManagerLocation: Project based with travel across the UKSalary: £35000 - £55000 (Depending on experience) + on-site bonus + benefitsAre you an experienced HSE Manager (or a HSE Professional looking to step in to management) looking for a new challenge, working for an organisation operating across the UK and Europe?Well, you’re in the right place… I’m on the lookout for a strong team player with excellent communication skills to manage and oversee Health and Safety practices on live construction projects.You will be pivotal in ensuring that the operations comply with all HSE regulations and provide support to the end client, contractors and workers.What will you be doing:Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislations including the CDM 2015Develop and maintain all relevant project documentation, including but not limited to CPP, emergency plan and fire risk assessment.Coordinate the work activities of contractors through permit to work and on-site meetings.Provide support and guidance to clients on health and safety matters, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.Proactively manage and influence safety culture across the site by leading as an example and rewarding positive safety performance through safety recognition programmes.Conduct regular site inspections and audits.Investigate incidents and accidents.Support acquisition of new projects.Manage and monitor the HSE Support.Support other team members.Provide support to our internal business functions and processes.Who am I looking for?You will have experience within a Health & Safety Management role or will be an experienced Health & Safety Professional ready to step in to management.Driving licence. Experience and working knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.NEBOSH General Certificate.Willing to work away from home (UK & Europe), varied shift patterns, 12-hour shifts.A motivated and driven individual.Highly organised individual who manage their own time and give direction.Excellent IT skills (Microsoft office).Communicate clearly across all platforms, is engaging and can speak to anyone at all levels.Patient, level-headed and cool under pressure.Focused with good attention to detail.Able to react quickly and efficiently to changing demands and requirements.Bonus points:SMSTS TrainedNEBOSH ConstructionFirst Aid TrainedWhat’s in it for you?Permanent full-time role, with a salary up to £55000 per annum DOECar allowanceOn-site bonus25 days annual leave + BHAll expenses paidWhat happens next?Step 1.
