Security, Safety, Health and Environment ManagerMillennium Hotels UK are looking for Security, Safety, Health and Environment Manager to oversee our UK hotels. As the Security, Safety, Health, Environment Manager you will play a critical role in creating a safe work environment and maintaining strong stakeholder relationship, Reporting to Head of Safety, Security, Health and Environment you will also prepare and implement systems/process and continually improve the safety culture, implementing change through the project and operational teams.Security, Safety, Health, Environment Manager key responsibilities:Lead the Safety & Security culture agenda across our UK Hotels.Manages major changes in legislation to limit and eradicate risk in relation to all aspects of safetyTo ensure there is a deliverable plan for crisis management ensuring continuity in the event of any issues to mitigate danger and reduce risk to guest and team welfareProvide guidance to the Local, Regional and senior team and take responsibility for all risk and compliance subjects, including ownership of the corporate risk registerDeliver robust and fully accredited procedures that ensure legal compliance and insurance requirements are met.Remain on top of all legislative requirements and influence stakeholders to implement practices to keep the business compliant.Driving high standards and continuous improvement within restaurants and head office to ensure the business maintains the highest of standards and breeds the best practice culture towards riskSecurity, Safety, Health, Environment Manager essential Skills:Multi-Site or Group level experience of Security and Health & Safety management – preferred in the hospitality sector.NEBOSH qualified, Certified H&S Safety practitioner or working towards.Security Industry Authority licenced.Conversant with H&S at Work Act 1974 and other associated legislations.Managerial experience in projects in relation to fire safety and physical security.Experience in managing projects related to fire safety, physical security.Significant experience in risk & compliance in a multi-site business.Experience of working with the EHO and enforcement agencies.Advanced knowledge of The Regulatory Reform (Fire safety) order 2005 and Building Safety Act.In depth understanding of Martyn Law Act.We offer a benefits package including:Yearly Bonus + Private MedicalSocial Events, Wellbeing and Team ActivitiesTraining and developmentApprenticeship/Placement opportunitiesCareer development and salary reviewsInterest free Season Ticket Loan SchemeUniform (Laundry / Dry Cleaning for Uniform)Meals Provided on DutyLength of Service-related holiday schemeEye Care VouchersEmployee Discounted Accommodation and F&BLife AssuranceRecommend a Friend Schemeand many more….ABOUT THE GROUPMillennium Hotels and Resorts own and operate a portfolio of over 120 hotels worldwide.
