Undertake health and safety risk assessments on general business activities, the use of machinery and hazardous substance. Carry out site Health and Safety audits and act on the outcome of these audits. Carry out reviews and give Health and Safety guidance on any project undertaken by the business. Work towards an ISO Health and Safety accreditation.About you NEBOSH diploma in health and safety or equivalentIOSH or above desirable, with commitment to regular CPDProven track record and hands on experience in a Health and Safety rolePrevious experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or similar industries is desirable.Knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene proceduresOrganised and motivated to move the department forwardExcellent communication skills and the ability to work within all levels of the organisationGood working knowledge of current health and safety legislation and the requirements this imposes on a businessIf you would like more information please make an application or contact us on on 01780 480530.
