Job Overview:



We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to across our sites. The role involves promoting a safe working environment, developing and implementing policies, conducting site inspections, and providing guidance on health and safety matters.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits for compliance.

  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.

  • Provide advice on risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.

  • Deliver training and inductions to employees and subcontractors.

  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports with recommendations.

  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance.

  • Stay updated with changes in health and safety legislation.



Qualifications and Experience:




  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management within the construction industry, focusing on fit-out and refurbishment projects.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Membership in IOSH or a similar professional body is desirable.
