Health and Safety Manager

Health & Safety Manager Excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join one of the worlds largest food processing companies based in the Enniskillen area. This is a management and advisor role within the Brands and Snacking Business Unit and is part of the site leadership structure on Health Safety and Environment practices, compliance and governance. To be suitable you do not have to have a food processing background, but you do have to have a manufacturing background. On offer: Salary of £55,000 - £60,000 Bonus Pension 10% Healthcare Sick pay Subsidised canteen Role -Health & Safety Manager Build a robust safety culture at site. Through positive change, impact and improve the site KPIs (DART Rate, Incident reduction, Behavioural Safety Observations (Checkmate)) and enhance culture through their utilisation. Environmental and Sustainability KPIs Progress towards sustainability goals, reduction of waste on site, including electricity & water usages Embrace all aspects of Go For Zero and support the Central function by engaging in campaigns, promoting positive behaviours and coaching teams to manage safety in their areas. Complete internal inspections of the facility on a periodic basis, respond to requests for support, document internal inspections and audits and support the Central HSE function on both internal and external audit programs. (ISO , Insurance Inspections etc.) Ensure the facility is in line with Central Risk frameworks and documented process. Ensuring site Risk Assessments are completed, in line with Central standards and compliance measures are in place.
