Dedicated 24/7 employee benefits platform.Childcare discounts.33 days holiday including bank holidays and your birthday off Health and Wellbeing - Employee Assistance Programme and our Peppy and Mental Health Apps.Further training and development.ResponsibilitiesAct as the main contact for safety, health, and food safety at allocated Centres.Provide advice and support to ensure safety for children, staff and visitors.Implement and follow Busy Bees health & safety and food safety systems.Investigate critical incidents and provide feedback to key stakeholders.Lead by example and uphold high standards daily.Handle personal and sensitive information discreetly and legally.Report regularly to your line manager on caseload and risks.Liaise with Centres and external parties to manage health and safety issues.Support and audit the Health & Safety Management System to maintain ISO 45001.Monitor safety performance and conduct annual Centre visits.Undertake audits and follow-up visits to ensure actions are resolved.Train and support staff to improve safety, health, and food safety competence and compliance.Offer intensive support to new or underperforming Centres.Assist Centres with safety-related parent communications.Promote good practice and share improvement ideas and learning with the team.Knowledge & ExperienceNEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.Minimum 2 years in a health & safety role.Knowledge of UK safety and health legislation that applies to childcare or education.Experience with health & safety management systems and risk management.Practical experience of hazard identification, risk management and hierarchy of controlling hazards.Strong communication, investigative, and decision-making skills.Valid UK driving license.Join us to maintain the highest standards of care and safety in our Centres.
