Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time or part time Health and Social Care Lecturer to work at an excellent college in Hull. This is a temporary position to start 2nd September 2024 and will last until at least December 2024. This is a role to cover a vacant position so there is the potential for this role to increase in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale (M1 to UPS3), and in a daily rate will be between �153.85 to �238.59. Exact number of days for this booking will depend on student enrolment numbers, that will be revealed in August.

This role will involve teaching Health and Social Care to BTEC Level 2 and 3 students. All planning and marking will be expected for this role, but there is an excellent bank of resources available for the successful candidate, meaning planning should be minimal. Experience teaching Health and Social Care and a background in the field is desirable for this role.

This college is located in Hull and has a large onsite car park for those candidates that do drive. It is available via public transport for candidates without access to a car. It is part of a large academy trust and the shared resources on site are fantastic, meaning planning for this position will be minimal. ECTs are encouraged to apply for this role.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.

• Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience teaching Health and Social Care to KS5 students
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
