About the Role:
As a Health Care Assistant, you'll be instrumental in creating a nurturing environment where children and young people can feel safe, supported, and empowered. Your role will involve providing care, encouragement, and guidance, working alongside families, schools, and other professionals to help children flourish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer hands-on support to children and young people, assisting them with daily routines and challenges.
  • Provide essential personal care and support their educational and emotional needs.
  • Build trusting, supportive relationships that foster a sense of security and stability.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and professionals to design individualized care plans.
  • Promote positive behavior and growth through structured activities, mentoring, and guidance.
  • Keep detailed records of children's progress and communicate insights with the team and external agencies.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children, especially those with additional needs or who face challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
  • A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant qualification in childcare, social work, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
  • Valid driver's license and DBS check (or equivalent) required.
