Health & Safety Adviser

Our client has been working in the waste and recycling sector for over 30 years working with business', local authorities and the domestic markets. This is a busy role where you will be involved with all HSE matters across multiple sites dealing with a range of issues.
Every day will be different, with responsibilities including ensuring Health & Safety management is maintained and developed as well as and environmental compliance being met.
Working closely with the Group Compliance Manager you will be liaising with regulatory bodies, local authorities and working at different levels across the business, therefore good communication skills are key, as well as and understanding and appreciation of management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
To be successful in this role you will need NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualification and have a background within environmental compliance preferably within the waste or similar sector. Candidates will require a driving licence to travel to sites across the region as required.
