Health & Safety Advisor

Abatec is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their client, a regional groundworks civil engineering contractor on a freelance basis in Devon.

Our client has built its reputation on delivering large, multi-million-pound groundworks projects and requires a Health & Safety advisor with experience working on civil engineering and construction sites in a similar position.

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will:

• Support and provide information to the site ensuring compliance with all requirements in the construction plans.

• Support investigations of incidents including close calls and near misses on site.


• Identifying training needs


• Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans, procedures, and associated documentation and check Compliance.

Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor with:

• Sound Knowledge of Civil Engineering/Construction Methods


• Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety or previous experience in a similar role


• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.


• Experience working on Civil Engineering/Construction sites.

Salary/Benefits:

• �300 - �350 CIS
