Health & Safety Advisor

My client is a�regional Civil Engineering contractor that has experienced significant growth, with their turnover increasing from �28 million to �60 million over the past two years. With a strong order book and ambitious growth plans, they provide civil and groundwork packages to tier-one construction companies across the�South West.

This newly created�employed�role will report directly to the Health & Safety Director. For the first three months, the position will be based on a project near�Newton Abbot, after which you will work on multiple projects from�Bristol to Exeter.

As Health & Safety Advisor you will:

• Advise and assist site management in preparation of safety and environmental plans.


• Train, coach and support staff on Health & Safety legislation


• Prepare safety reports as required.


• Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance


• Support investigations of incidents including close call and near miss on site.


• Identifying training needs

Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor with:

• NEBOSH General Certificate


• Experience working within the Construction industry


• Strong communication skills


• Positive approach to work


• Full UK driving licence


• CSCS card

Salary/Benefits:

• Salary up to �65,000 (depending on experience)


• Company car/car allowance


• Paid annual leave, company pension etc
