We are recruiting for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our client's growing team. The role involves ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across various high-profile projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead HSE practices, drive safety culture, and work closely with teams to implement sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and ISO 14001 standards.
- Develop and manage HSE policies, risk assessments, and environmental initiatives.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee HSE training, using digital tools to enhance learning and record keeping.
- Lead the investigation of incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Manage the HSE aspects of in-house and subcontractor operations, ensuring best practices are followed.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in HSE management, preferably within construction.
- Proficiency with HSE software platforms, audit tools, and cloud-based systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
