Healthcare in the UK is facing unprecedented challenges - we are playing our part in ensuring we can help deliver improved patient outcomes at the lowest possible cost to the NHS.The Role holder will join our Wholesale Quality function to ensure the Company complies with the requirements of current Health, Safety and Fire legislation.Promoting a culture of safety awareness across the PHOENIX Group, you will ensure preventative measures are in place to minimise operational losses caused by fire, accidents & injuries as well as occupational health issues. You will drive health, safety and fire compliance by delivering audits and providing feedback to minimise risk. Who are we looking for?A successful candidate will have a relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent) and will have previous experience in a similar Health & Safety position. We are looking for an organised and influential candidate with knowledge and experience from within a pharmaceutical or wholesale environment. Experience of audits, inspections and preparations to ensure compliance is essential and you will have excellent planning and time management skills along with a concern for order and quality.This position will require you to provide H&S support and guidance to all PHOENIX locations with up to 4 days per week spent at our sites across the UK and Northern Ireland therefore extensive travel and overnight stays will be required - a full driving license is therefore essential.Phoenix Medical Supplies are an equal opportunities employer.
