Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire

Salary Banding - Competitive

Fully onsite working - Monday-Friday, 07:30am-16:30pm, across 2 sites in Bourne

Fixed Term Contract - 6 months (potential for further growth)

The purpose of this role is to support the Health & Safety team and Compliance Manager to perform best practice for Health & Safety and waste compliance across the two sites. The responsibility falls on to you for ensuring the right knowledge is communicated across the business.

\n

Primarily centred around Waste Management, this business is expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key UK & Ireland sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Health & Safety standards through promoting company culture, communicating with personal on best practice, and conducting/reporting on safety meetings
  • \n
  • Perform waste classification compliance through audits, data analysing and site processes. Training can be provided in this area
  • \n
  • Support the Health & Safety team and work alongside the Compliance Manager for health and safety best practice for both sites
  • \n

What We Are Looking For?

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience within Health and Safety Coordinator role or similar level
  • \n
  • Experience in manufacturing environment, or heavy industry such as a quarry
  • \n
  • Minimum NEBOSH level 3 certification
  • \n
\n
