Regional Health & Safety Manager

Are you an experienced Health and Safety Manager looking for a new opportunity? We have a fantastic opportunity to join a privately owned contractor based in the scenic surroundings of Guernsey.

About the role of Health & Safety Manager

My client specialises in a variety of schemes ranging from high-end residential, industrial units, commercial office buildings and more. Projects ranging up to �20M.

Responsibilities for Health & Safety Manager
  • Carry out training and inductions for new members joining the business.
  • Monitor and maintain local legislations.
  • Proactively look to improve and develop the businesses H&S standards and policies
  • Promote campaigns across the business advocating Health, Safety & Well-being
  • Regularly set up H&S meetings with the board and local committee
  • Build and manage relationships with clients

Requirements for Health & Safety Manager
  • NEBOSH Qualified
  • Previous experience carrying out site audits and risk assessments.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation's
  • Strong communication skills both written ad verbal

What we offer for Health & Safety Manager
  • A competitive salary ranging from �80,000 - �90,000
  • Guernsey tax policy, no tax until after the first �13,900 and the n a flat tax rate of 20% with no National Insurance or Pension contribution
  • Travel to and from the island
  • �5K car allowance
