Think Construction are pleased to have been instructed by a leading regional main construction contractor to find a SHEQ Manager to join their experienced construction team. This role offers an opportunity to join a brilliant senior team who are dedicated to delivering projects to an exceptional standard, who look after their people well and create opportunities for progression.

The company

Our client is a well-known Midlands established main contractor and is growing due to new projects won and repeat business with the current established customer base. They are a cash rich business with a turnover of �100 million they have strong pipeline of work secured for 2024 and beyond!

They are an entirely relationship driven business and pride themselves on the fact that over 75% of their workload is negotiated with existing clients that they have built relationships with over the past 20 years.

Their sectors they work in Industrial, Retail and Commercial. Projects range from �3m up to �40 million on new build and refurb schemes.

The role

As an experienced construction health & safety manager, you will be based out of the modern Warwickshire office and will take responsibility for providing support, guidance and management of safety, health, environmental and quality management for all the business activities in the construction industry. You will provide support and guidance to estimating, commercial, operational and customer service teams throughout the life cycle of the project.

You will have strong investigating skills, good influencing and persuasive skills and the ability to find solutions.

You will be a strong communicator and ideally have NEBOSH and IOSH accreditations and have experience working in a similar role in the construction industry.

In this role you will be able to manage your own time which will include visiting the company head office for meetings in Warwickshire and visit sites across the UK and working from home once a week.

You will be an experienced construction health and safety professional with a hands-on-style and be able to interact well with others. You will come from a construction background with a detailed understanding of construction methods and techniques. Tech IOSH qualification with internal auditor experience.
