Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Manager - Telford, Shropshire - £50-£60k+car and benefits - construction/mechanical and electrical contractor

Qualifications required:
• NEBOSH General or Construction certificate - essential
• TechIOSH - Essential
• Member of APS (incorporated minimum) - Essential
• Diploma/NVQ level 6 - Desirable
• CSCS Black - Desirable

Experience minimum:
• Construction & Maintenance
• Working with subcontractors and direct labour
• Knowledge of CDM 2015
• Experience with auditing and training.

Duties:
• Ensuring consistent application of our Health and Safety Policy at all business and project locations.
• Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
• Developing tailored risk assessments and method statements for each project site.
• Performing required checks on all subcontractors using pre-qualification documents and communicating with clients about the Health and Safety details of the project throughout its progress.
• Ensuring all appointed subcontractors have and maintain all required documentation.
• Assessing the health and safety training needs of employees and subcontractors.
• Conducting unannounced site visits to ensure that employees and subcontractors are adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices.
