The home is a purpose-built large nursing home looking after almost 63 residents . The standard of care provided is extremely high based on the health provider that oversees the unit and operation. The nursing home has a large dining area that includes a bar and cafe, leading on to a garden area for the residence
Overview:
Location: Bridgend
Pay: £12.05-£24.10 (plus Holiday Pay)
Shifts: 7:30AM until 7.30PM / 7:30PM until 7.30AM
Block 3-month booking available (part-time and full-time)

The role: What you'll be doing as a Health Care Assistant
This role offers flexible temporary agency working hours, with either full or part-time shifts available to fit around your work/life balance. We are especially interested to hear from HCA's who are compassionate, committed and have experience in a care setting experience with EMI & Dementia. You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients, providing a first-class service and commitment to making a difference in the lives of these patients and their families.
Duties will include:
Personal Care
Manual Handling Equipment use
The implementation of care and treatment plans
Providing companionship and support to residents
Key Requirements:
Past experience in Healthcare (6 months plus UK experience)
Experience with Manual Handling Equipment in a live environment is key in this role, training offered by the provider
A desire to make a difference in the lives of elderly residents
