We are currently instructed on a senior healthcare lawyer position at Senior Associate or Legal Director level. Our client is looking at experienced solicitors from roughly 5 PQE+.
Rich variety of work undertaken by the teamThe mix of work includes a range of criminal, regulatory and inquest matters. Our client has built a stellar reputation in this area. One of the Partners specialises in defending healthcare professionals in particular. Cases have involved everything from gross negligence manslaughter, neglect, medicines act offences as well as sexual assault cases, common assault and fraud against the NHS. Other matters on which the team advise include:defending healthcare professionals and organisations in regulatory proceedings before statutory regulators such as the GMC/MPTS, GDC, GOC, GPhC, NMC and HCPC;advising on disciplinary proceedings before NHS Trusts and NHS England;handling other healthcare matters such as CQC proceedings, data disputes and public inquiries;advising on patient complaints as well as SUI and Ombudsman investigations;Strong leadership skills Because of the nature of the opportunity, you will also be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills as well as an interested in nurturing client relationships and general business development.Please don’t hesitate to apply for more information.
