Heating Engineer

Heating Engineer, Glasgow, Salary £37,000 to £39,000 per annum, +£45K with Regular Overtime Plus Company Vehicle Package & Excellent Company Pension!

Heating Engineer required to work for our client, a leading M&E services provider in Glasgow. Aspirare presents an exciting opportunity for a Heating Engineer to join our client, a leading M&E services provider in Glasgow. The Heating Engineer will be working with a highly skilled projects team on mechanical installations around the central belt.  

The Heating Engineer will receive:

• Competitive salary up to £39,000 per annum.
• Regular overtime at an increased rate with earnings exceeding £45K per year.
• Travel time paid at an increased rate after 30 minutes.
• Company-provided vehicle, tools, and uniform.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Commercial projects across the central belt of Scotland.
• Undertake installations in plantroom and boiler house, including installation of commercial heating, plumbing and chilled water systems.
• Working to your own initiative and running jobs as part of a small team.
• Pipefitting using brazed, soldered, welder, press fit and Victaulic fittings.

Role Requirements:

• Qualified Pipefitter/Heating Engineer (Senior Craftsman Desirable)
• Welding experience Arc & Gas.
• ACS Gas safe credits/testing & purging advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working in a client facing role.
