Job Title: Heavy Plant Fitter (Workshop Based)

Are you an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter looking for your next opportunity?

Join a large and well-established recycling company in the Ruislip area, where you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing essential machinery.

This is a full-time, workshop-based role working Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, with overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine maintenance and general repairs of machinery such as compactors, loading shovels, conveyors, and other plant equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues.
• Ensure all machinery is maintained to the highest standards, in line with safety regulations.
• Support breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
• Work closely with the workshop team to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of plant machinery, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding (desirable).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance.
